A two-car crash near Avalon Gardens on November 29, 2019, claimed the life of one driver and sent two young passengers to the hospital.

According to ABC-7, this collision occurred at 11PM between Colden and McKinley avenues. Allegedly, one vehicle failed to yield at a stop sign and struck another car.

Only one driver was inside the vehicle that allegedly sped through a stop sign. The second vehicle, however, had one driver and two preteen passengers.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they soon discovered the driver in the second car was dead. The child passengers, however, are now recovering in a nearby hospital.

It’s unknown at this moment what caused this crash, but police don’t believe DUI was a factor. Anyone with additional information on this collision is urged to call LAPD at 877-ASK-LAPD.
