Hit-And-Run Driver Kills Pedestrian In Pomona

A hit-and-run crash in Pomona resulted in the death of one female pedestrian. Police are still searching for the driver involved in this fatal crash.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they discovered one pedestrian on the ground with severe injuries. While the accident occurred after dark, it is important that both drivers and pedestrians adhere to a duty of care when crossing a street and watching for pedestrians in the roadway.
Police quickly transported the crash victim to an area hospital for immediate treatment. Sadly, the pedestrian passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Pomona Police do not have any information on the car or driver involved in this hit-and-run. Officers believe, however, that the vehicle in this case probably has a damaged windshield and front bumper.
