South LA Hit-And-Run Kills One Pedestrian
A hit-and-run collision in south Los Angeles claimed the life of one pedestrian on December 10, 2018. Local police are now offering $50,000 for anyone who helps them catch the driver involved in this tragic crash.
According to NBC-4, this hit-and-run happened around 3:30AM near the intersection of Crocker Street and Towne Avenue.
Allegedly, a motorist headed west struck one female pedestrian from behind on Vernon Avenue. Shortly after the accident, the driver drove towards San Pedro Street. When first-responders arrived on the scene, they soon pronounced the crash victim deceased.
When police reviewed the surveillance footage, they discovered the vehicle involved in this crash was a Dodge Caravan. Investigators now believe this vehicle was a 1990s model and had a grey color.
