Stevenson Ranch Crash Takes One Life on November 8 2020
Late Sunday evening, November 8, 2020, a single-car crash in Stevenson Ranch resulted in one fatality.
Just after 6:15 p.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash. The incident occurred nearby the intersection of North Verne Court and West Poe Parkway, according to The Signal Santa Clarita Valley.
While personnel had first received word that the car collided with a pole, the units found that the vehicle actually crashed into a tree. It appears that the car was headed southbound on Poe Parkway when it left the road and hit a light post and a signpost, then crashed into the trees.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol responded in addition to LACFD personnel. One individual was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Since the vehicle was so damaged, it was not initially clear if any other victims were involved.
Poe Parkway’s No. 2 lane remains closed indefinitely for investigation and cleanup. This is a developing story.
