April 2016 Los Angeles Car Chase in Mustang Convertible
The driver who led police on a wild chase through Los Angeles was a trained vehicle operator for the U.S Marine Corps.
There was an accident on 101 but nothing terribly serious. The chase did not involve any extremely high speeds but mostly involved the driver and passenger taunting law enforcement.
The Mustang was driven down Sunset Blvd and did Donuts on Hollywood Blvd. The Mustang could be seen driving slow through exposition Park on a flat tire with LAPD staying at a distance in the back.
The pursuit lasted over an hour. The driver eventually pulled over in the Sheriff’s jurisdiction where he wrapped up a phone call and hung out with his buddies waiting for the cops to arrive. The police showed up and arrested the suspects who were very cooperative.
