Johnny Football in Hit and Run in LA
The former Johnny Football, aka Johnny Manziel, was involved in a sort-of hit-and-run on the Sunset Strip at about 10:45 pm on April 13th.
In this case it was more of a hit-and-walk.
Manziel was a passenger in a car driven by his friend, Ryan Silverstein.
Silverstein managed to drive his car into a light pole and both he and Manziel got out and started to walk away when they were picked up by Manziel’s former Cleveland teammate Josh Gordon.
They later returned to the scene. Manziel and Gordon weren’t charged with anything but the police had questions for Ryan.
On May 5th, the least known Kardashian, Rob, was driving his Bentley on the 101 Freeway when he was rear-ended.
His Bentley was obviously damaged but Kardashian came out of it okay.
He’s not the only celeb to be in an accident in Los Angeles recently…
In February of 2015, Caitlyn Jenner was involved in a fatal accident involving her Cadillac Escalade, a Lexus and a Hummer (we’re referring to the car, not making a cheap joke).
Jenner crashed into the Lexus, pushing it into the hummer and killing the driver of the Lexus, 69-year-old Kim Howe.
Although Jenner was cleared of any criminal charges – she wasn’t speeding and had just braked seconds before the accident – she still faces several potential lawsuits.
All of this just underscores a simple reality: cars are fast-moving, heavy vehicles driven by people who can make poor decisions at any time.
